40-Hour Course
Personal Care Assistants work in a home care environment and dedicate themselves to assisting individuals with daily activities.

Infection Control

This course provides students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to
prevent and control the spread of infections in health care and community settings. Students learn how infections are transmitted and how proper infection control practices help protect patients, residents, healthcare workers, and the community.

The Home Health Aide's role typically involves assisting patients with activities of daily living, basic tasks that include bathing, grooming, toileting, eating, and moving.

This course provides students with an understanding of basic nutrition and healthy lifestyle practices that support overall health and well-being. Students learn how proper nutrition, hydration, physical activity, and healthy daily habits contribute to maintaining health and supporting individuals in their care.
